The plan was similar to the idea they had for their future chalet, but they wanted to make a few changes before starting construction. First they added a basement. Then, the bathroom has been remodeled to have a large shower and two sinks. The surface of the kitchen has been enlarged to have an additional worktop. The location of the front door and fireplace have been reversed. Finally the raised entrance driveway was extended on the left side of the house to join the new location of the front door.
