A side-by-side bi-generational plan with Scandinavian and farmhouse architecture

This side-by-side bi-generational plan by Plan Maison Québec offers a warm and contemporary architectural concept, combining farmhouse style and Scandinavian design. Designed for families seeking both independence and proximity, this model features a spacious 2,560 sq. ft. structure spread over two floors, with an elegant mezzanine overlooking the living areas. This bi-generational semi-detached home offers an ideal solution for harmonious coexistence with loved ones while enjoying distinct and comfortable spaces.

A spacious and bright bi-generational home

The side-by-side bi-generational plan was designed to maximize natural light and functionality. From the exterior, its clean lines and combination of modern materials evoke Scandinavian style, while the volume recalls the authenticity of farmhouse homes. Inside, the large glass openings and glass balconies create a feeling of space and lightness, creating a perfect harmony between the interior comfort and the surrounding nature.

The house features a spacious ground floor with a large bedroom, a full bathroom, a functional vestibule, and an integrated double garage, ideal for families with multiple vehicles or looking for additional storage space. A notable feature: the integration of an elevator, ensuring long-term accessibility and comfort.

A floor designed for conviviality and family life

Upstairs, this side-by-side, bi-generational floor plan reveals a bright and open central living space, perfect for welcoming family and friends. The living room, dining room, and kitchen share a vast open-concept space, bathed in natural light. The kitchen, with its large central island and ample storage, is attractive for its practicality and conviviality.

Two additional bedrooms are located on this floor, along with a full bathroom and a laundry room with a walk-in closet, allowing for efficient organization of daily tasks. The large panoramic balcony, accessible from the main living areas, offers an exceptional outdoor extension, ideal for enjoying al fresco dining or simply admiring the view.

A mezzanine with a private bathroom for added comfort

The mezzanine is undoubtedly one of the highlights of this floor plan. Open to the ground floor, it offers a versatile space that can be used as an office, a private lounge, or a reading nook. An en-suite bathroom completes this floor, adding a touch of luxury and privacy. This elevated space gives the home a unique architectural character while enhancing the floor plan's functional value.

The perfect combination of design, comfort, and independence

Thanks to its poured concrete foundation, two-story structure, and open mezzanine, this side-by-side, bi-generational plan ensures strength, durability, and adaptability. It meets the needs of modern families seeking to balance intergenerational proximity with individual privacy. Scandinavian design emphasizes simplicity and light, while the farmhouse style brings warmth and conviviality.

Every detail has been carefully considered to create a home that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional, perfect for a rural, suburban, or lakeside setting. Plan Maison Québec has created an exceptional model that combines harmony, elegance, and practicality.
