A farmhouse house plan inspired by tradition
Are you looking for a farmhouse house plan that combines rustic charm and modern design? This 1,250-square-foot single-family home or cottage model is designed to offer a warm, functional, and timeless living environment. Inspired by country architecture, it incorporates simple materials, balanced volumes, and a practical structure that adapts to different lifestyles, whether as a primary or secondary residence.
Rustic and welcoming architecture
The farmhouse style is distinguished by its simplicity, warmth, and aesthetic inspired by North American country homes. This model perfectly embodies this trend, with its clean lines, gable roof, and understated siding. The absence of a garage highlights the building's compact form and contributes to its harmonious integration into a natural or wooded environment. Every architectural detail has been carefully considered to create a home that is as beautiful as it is functional, both reassuring and modern.
A single-story, accessible and comfortable home
One of the major advantages of this plan is its single-story layout, making it accessible to all types of customers. It features two comfortable bedrooms, positioned to ensure peace and privacy. Two full bathrooms enhance daily comfort and offer great flexibility, whether for a small family, a couple, or visiting guests.
The common living area includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen in an open space bathed in natural light. This layout encourages interaction and creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. The large windows and access to the terrace extend the living space to the outdoors.
A finished basement and a bright garden level
This farmhouse house plan also stands out for its fully finished basement, with a garden level that adds a level of comfort rarely seen in this type of home. Thanks to its split-level layout, the basement benefits from exceptional natural light. This makes it a living space in its own right, perfect for a family room, an additional bedroom, an office space, or even a relaxation area. The garden level also offers a direct exit to the backyard, strengthening the connection between the interior and the surrounding nature.
A solid foundation for a sustainable project
This model rests on a poured concrete foundation, renowned for its strength, waterproofing, and excellent energy performance. This foundation choice ensures long-term stability and effective protection against moisture, particularly in Quebec. It is also ideal for sloping lots, allowing for a natural integration of the garden level and optimization of available space.
A house designed to adapt to your needs
This farmhouse building plan is designed to evolve according to your needs. It provides the ideal foundation for a custom project, whether you're expanding a room, modifying the interior design, or adapting the windows to your property.
