A modern chalet plan with a metal roof and a distinctive nordic style
This modern chalet plan with a metal roof stands out thanks to its architecture inspired by Scandinavian and rustic trends, perfectly suited to the Quebec landscape. With its clean lines, warm cladding, and gabled metal roof, this model offers a contemporary aesthetic while maintaining the authenticity and comfort sought in a four-season chalet.
Designed to maximize natural light and offer a seamless living experience, this single-family chalet features a simple and efficient layout, ideal for both a primary residence and a vacation home.
Scandinavian architecture designed for the Quebec climate
The architectural style of this chalet is based on a skillful blend of modern Scandinavian design and rustic influences. The metal roof, a central element of this plan, ensures remarkable durability while accentuating the building's contemporary character. Its steep slope facilitates snow removal and reflects a typically Nordic functional approach.
The wood-inspired exterior cladding, combined with generous windows, creates an envelope that is both understated, elegant, and inviting. This modern chalet plan with a metal roof blends seamlessly into a wooded, mountain, or rural setting.
A bright and optimized interior
With a total area of 1,612 sq ft, this chalet offers a thoughtfully designed interior layout on two levels, without a basement. The main living areas are housed in a welcoming open-concept layout, encouraging interaction and a smooth flow between the kitchen, dining room, and living room.
The kitchen is designed to be functional and modern, with a central island providing a space for food preparation and gathering. The dining room and living room benefit from high ceilings, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness and light.
The master bedroom, located on the main floor, ensures comfort and privacy, while the full bathroom is designed to efficiently meet everyday needs.
A versatile and inspiring mezzanine
The mezzanine is a major asset of this floor plan. Open to the ground floor, it offers a sweeping view of the living area and abundant natural light. This space can be configured to suit your needs: home office, relaxation area, family room, or guest suite.
This configuration reinforces the chalet's modern identity and offers a layout flexibility highly valued in contemporary projects.
A simple and efficient modern chalet plan without a garage
Without a garage, this modern chalet plan with a metal roof prioritizes a compact footprint of 42 feet by 28 feet, making it easy to place on various types of land. The poured concrete foundation ensures strength and durability, while meeting current building standards.
This model is ideal for homeowners seeking a functional, aesthetically pleasing, and well-proportioned chalet without compromising on comfort.
A signed plan for a sustainable and timeless project
This chalet plan embodies a modern vision of Nordic living: sustainable, bright, and perfectly suited to today's lifestyle. It is designed for those who desire a distinctive architectural project, both simple and refined, highlighting materials, light, and space.
