Traditional style wooden garage construction plan
This wooden garage construction plan was designed to meet the needs of homeowners seeking a durable, functional, and aesthetically timeless solution. With its traditional architectural style, this detached garage blends seamlessly with all types of residences, whether a single-family home, a cottage, or a property in a rural or suburban setting. Its simple and well-proportioned design makes it a versatile and efficient choice for protecting a vehicle while offering optimized storage space.
A Simple, Sturdy, and Well-Sized Detached Garage
With a floor area of 952 sq ft, this wooden garage construction plan offers a generous interior space that comfortably accommodates a vehicle while still providing room for storing tools, seasonal equipment, or gardening supplies. Measuring 28 feet wide by 34 feet deep, the building offers smooth traffic flow and ample clearance around the vehicle, facilitating maneuvering and efficient use of space.
The garage is built on a single level, without a mezzanine or basement, simplifying construction and maximizing the use of floor space. This configuration is ideal for those seeking a simple, practical, and easily accessible structure for everyday use.
A timeless traditional architecture
The traditional architectural style of this wooden garage is distinguished by clean lines, a gable roof, and exterior cladding that evokes solidity and authenticity. This type of architecture blends seamlessly with a wide variety of homes, whether classic, country, or contemporary.
Thanks to its understated and balanced appearance, this wooden garage design retains its aesthetic appeal for years to come. It is an excellent choice for homeowners who want a discreet yet elegant addition that can adapt to the changing needs of their property.
A slab foundation for efficient construction
This garage rests on a slab foundation, a solution known for its simplicity and durability. The slab provides excellent structural stability while facilitating maintenance and use of the garage. It also allows for direct and convenient access, which is particularly appreciated in regions subject to varying climates.
The absence of a basement or walk-out basement contributes to a clear and rational design, ideal for a well-managed construction project. This technical choice allows for quick installation and optimal use of the interior space.
A garage plan designed for versatile use
Although designed as a simple garage, this wooden garage plan can easily meet a variety of needs. Whether for housing a vehicle, serving as a workshop, storage space, or even an occasional work area, its open interior configuration allows for great flexibility in layout.
Without bedrooms or bathrooms, the space is entirely dedicated to utilitarian use, making it an efficient solution to complement a residential property. Well-positioned openings maximize natural light and enhance everyday comfort.
