Discover our stacked duplex house plan: The perfect blend of style and functionality
Welcome to Plan Maison Québec, the leading home design firm for Quebec and Canada. If you're looking for a versatile, aesthetically pleasing housing solution perfectly suited to modern living, our stacked duplex house plan is the answer. This unique model brilliantly combines the privacy of two separate living spaces with a contemporary-rustic design that blends seamlessly into any natural or urban environment.
Exceptional contemporary and rustic architecture
This house plan stands out for its refined aesthetics and natural presence. By combining the warmth of wood with clean architectural lines, this two-story building exudes timeless elegance. Its compact structure, 28 feet wide by 40 feet deep, allows for easy placement on a wide variety of lots, while offering a strong visual presence. Without a garage, this model prioritizes interior living space and landscaping integration, resulting in a balanced silhouette that will appeal to modern design enthusiasts.
An interior layout designed for absolute comfort
With a total area of 2,240 sq ft intelligently distributed over two levels, this stacked duplex house plan offers living spaces optimized for the well-being of its occupants. Each floor is a complete and self-contained 1,120 sq ft unit, ensuring exceptional functionality. The ground floor and upper floor feature a symmetrical layout where the living room, dining room, and kitchen are grouped together in an open-concept design. This layout creates a spacious and bright environment, ideal for shared moments. Each level also includes two spacious bedrooms and a modern bathroom, bringing the total to four bedrooms for the entire building.
The versatility of the multigenerational home
The stacked configuration is one of the most popular solutions in Quebec for meeting the evolving needs of families. This model is particularly well-suited for a multigenerational project, allowing families to welcome loved ones while maintaining complete independence. Thanks to separate entrances and an exterior staircase leading to the upper floor, the privacy of each group is preserved. This layout also offers an excellent opportunity for rental investment, allowing owners to live in one unit while generating income by renting out the other, thus ensuring long-term flexibility.
A robust structure for a lasting investment
Built on a solid poured concrete foundation, this model guarantees exceptional structural stability for the Quebec climate. The absence of a basement, mezzanine, or walk-out basement simplifies construction while emphasizing the quality of the above-ground spaces and the penetration of natural light. By choosing this stacked duplex house plan, you are investing in professional design quality from Plan Maison Québec. This model embodies the perfect balance between rustic-chic architecture and the practicality of a modern duplex, ready to become the living space for your future construction projects.
