A modern Scandinavian chalet plan with a garden level and mezzanine designed for sloping sites
This modern Scandinavian chalet plan with a garden level and mezzanine stands out with its clean lines, efficient proportions, and an interior layout perfectly suited to the challenges of sloping terrain. Designed as both a chalet and a single-family home, this model combines Nordic aesthetics, contemporary functionality, and multi-level comfort. With a total living area of 2,913 sq ft, it offers a bright, fluid, and versatile living space.
Modern Scandinavian architecture with a strong identity
Inspired by the Scandinavian style, this modern chalet features a steeply pitched roof, generous windows, and clean lines that emphasize the simplicity of the volumes. The architecture maximizes natural light and the connection with the surrounding environment, while maintaining a distinctly contemporary look. The exterior design, both elegant and timeless, blends harmoniously into the surrounding wooded, mountainous, or riverside landscapes.
A fully finished and bright garden level
The garden level offers a true living space in its own right. Thanks to a poured concrete foundation and a fully finished basement, this floor accommodates several comfortable bedrooms and a full bathroom. Direct access to the outdoors and abundant windows ensure ample natural light while offering great flexibility in layout. This level is ideal for entertaining family and guests or for creating more intimate spaces, separate from the main living areas.
An open and inviting main floor
The main floor features an open-concept living area encompassing the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The layout promotes easy flow and unobstructed views to the outdoors. The functional kitchen includes a convenient pantry, while a full bathroom adds to everyday comfort. The enclosed vestibule improves the organization of the entrance and contributes to the building's thermal comfort. Together, they create a warm and inviting space, ideal for gatherings and everyday living.
A versatile mezzanine with a cathedral ceiling
The mezzanine, located on the upper floor, adds a distinctive architectural dimension to this modern Scandinavian chalet plan. Open to the living room, it benefits from a cathedral ceiling that enhances the feeling of spaciousness and light. This partial floor can accommodate an office, a relaxation area, or an additional bedroom, depending on your needs. The mezzanine reinforces the chalet's unique character while offering versatile living space.
A functional and adaptable chalet plan
With its four bedrooms or offices, two bathrooms, a habitable garden level, and a mezzanine, this model caters to a wide variety of residential projects. The absence of a garage maximizes living space while maintaining a simple and efficient footprint. The building's dimensions, 42 feet wide by 38 feet deep, facilitate placement on many types of terrain.
