An open-concept house plan with a rustic and contemporary style
Dreaming of a spacious, bright, and welcoming living space? This open-concept house plan, designed in a rustic style, offers all of this and more. Combining modernity and authenticity, this two-story single-family home features an interior layout designed to foster family time, daily comfort, and harmony with the surrounding nature.
With a total surface area of 2,016 square feet, this model captivates with its clean lines, its sloped roof typical of the chalet style, and its large windows that allow abundant natural light at all hours of the day. Ideal for a primary or secondary residence, it will be perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a welcoming and functional living environment.
An open, bright, and welcoming ground floor
From the moment you enter, the tone is set: space, fluidity, and light. The entryway opens onto a vast open-concept space combining the living room, dining room, and kitchen. This layout encourages interaction, smooth circulation, and a warm atmosphere. The kitchen, located at the heart of this space, features a functional central island that creates a beautiful transition from the dining room and provides additional space for cooking or entertaining.
The living room, with its breathtaking outdoor views thanks to the large vertical windows, is perfect for relaxing. The generously sized dining room offers direct access to the rear terrace, ideal for enjoying sunny days or hosting al fresco meals.
At the rear of the ground floor, we find the first bedroom, spacious and bright, accompanied by a practical walk-in closet and access to a large full bathroom. The latter is equipped with a freestanding bathtub, a glass-enclosed shower, and a double vanity, creating a perfect relaxation space to end the day.
A mezzanine with master bedroom
The central staircase leads upstairs, where you'll discover a mezzanine opening onto the ground floor, accentuating the sense of spaciousness and light. This level houses the master bedroom, a comfortable private space with a large walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom. The lofty architecture and the openings onto the main space create a unique atmosphere, perfect for those who appreciate airy interiors and unobstructed views.
The mezzanine also provides a beautiful observation area overlooking the heart of the home, reinforcing the idea of an open-concept house plan designed for modern living.
An unfinished basement with multiple possibilities
Another advantage of this plan is its unfinished basement, which can be fully converted to suit your needs. Whether you want to add additional bedrooms, a family room, a workshop, an office, or even a playroom, this versatile space offers you great design freedom.
Resting on a poured concrete foundation, this basement guarantees a solid and durable structure, ready to evolve with you.
A rustic style perfectly suited to Quebec
This house stands out for its rustic look inspired by Quebec's natural surroundings, while incorporating modern elements: large openings, open-concept spaces, a mezzanine, and clean finishes. The absence of a garage emphasizes the direct connection to the natural environment and reduces visual clutter.
Like all models offered by Plan Maison Québec, this plan is fully customizable. Our team of technologists can adapt every detail to meet your preferences, whether it's the room layout, the exterior cladding, or the interior finishes.
