This stone house extension project perfectly illustrates the importance of a preliminary study and a custom design. When these clients contacted us, their main wish was to extend their house while respecting the architecture and stone style of their existing home. They wanted to add a complete wing to their home, but were unsure of the feasibility of such a project, particularly due to the constraints of the stone structure. The elaborate house plan allowed for the integration of a new section without compromising the integrity of the original house. The stone house extension created a functional and spacious space, including a basement with two bedrooms, a large living room, an open kitchen, a large closet, as well as a powder room with exterior access via a bay window and a staircase.
