Contemporary bungalow with plan: A year-round chalet

Halfway between a vacation cottage and a single-family home designed for everyday use, this model by Plan Maison Québec embodies the perfect balance between comfort, style, and functionality. With its clean lines, thoughtful layout, and durable structure, this contemporary bungalow with plan is ideal for anyone seeking a pleasant living environment, without a second floor or basement, in a warm and contemporary environment.

A contemporary-traditional aesthetic

The architectural style of this home seamlessly blends the codes of contemporary design with those of the traditional Quebec home. Its gently sloped roof, well-positioned openings, and understated siding make it a home that blends harmoniously into both natural and residential environments.

With a width of 42 feet and a depth of 30 feet, this bungalow offers a compact, elegant, and functional silhouette, ideal for a medium-sized lot. Its garage-free and basement-free design promotes faster construction and simplified maintenance.

An optimized interior spanning 1,260 square feet

The interior of this contemporary bungalow with a floor plan was designed to maximize every square foot of its 1,260 square feet. Upon entering, a closed vestibule separates the foyer from the rest of the rooms, for maximum thermal comfort and tranquility.

The main living area combines the living room, dining room, and kitchen in an open, bright, and welcoming space. The kitchen, with its large countertop and direct access to the dining room, is perfect for spending time with family or friends. The spacious living room opens onto the backyard through large windows, providing a beautiful connection to the outdoors.

Two comfortable bedrooms and a full bathroom

The sleeping area consists of two well-proportioned bedrooms, perfect for a couple, a small family, or a retired couple looking for a guest room or home office. The generous master bedroom offers ample space for a reading nook or storage. The second bedroom can easily accommodate a double bed or be converted to suit your needs.

The full bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a separate shower, and a functional sink area, ensuring comfort and privacy for all occupants.

A reliable and durable structure

Resting on a poured concrete foundation, this home guarantees long-term structural stability. The absence of a basement in no way detracts from its efficiency: the crawl space and well-designed storage solutions allow for optimal organization.

The building envelope meets Quebec energy standards, including high-performance insulation, efficient ventilation, and construction materials selected for their durability. This model is also easily modified to suit your needs (adding a garage, adjusting the dimensions, or modifying the interior layout).

A home designed for today's lifestyle

Whether you're planning a primary residence or a year-round cottage, this model will captivate with its architectural intelligence and timeless aesthetic.
